Governance

In the UK we have a British Anglican Cursillo Council (BACC), that provides oversight of the Anglican Cursillo Movement in the Church of England, Scottish Episcopal Church and the Church in Wales. Within the Church of England there are many diocesan Cursillo groups, although not all diocese have a dedicated Cursillo movement.

We are blessed enough to have Peterborough Anglican Cursillo. We have a secretariat – a committee – that is responsible for the activities of Peterborough Anglican Cursillo, setting up and running the weekend and co-ordination of fourth day activities.

Ely Diocese gifted Cursillo to Peterborough Diocese (Bishop to Bishop).  We operate with the Bishops permission and blessing.  Hence why we endeavour to work closely with the Bishop’s office and Mission Team to ensure all that we do aligns with the diocesan strategy.
